He is asked to lightly edit dozens of plagiarized articles from various sources, all for the purpose of making his employer’s site more discoverable by search engines. It’s a widespread practice site owners engage in to either make money off the resulting ads or to sell cheap pharmaceuticals and other gray market products. Worth a read, if only to get an insider’s feel for one of the evils search begat.
