Ryan previously held several jobs in the search marketing sector and was search editor iMedia Communications. In addition to his responsibilities on SES he will write a regular column for Search Engine Watch.

Centro hired Colleen Callinan as an account executive. The provider of local interactive media services hired Callinan from Cincinnati.com, where she was a dedicated online account executive.
Fox News named Ray Hennessey managing editor and director of the Fox Business Channel Web site. Hennessey was the editor of SmartMoney.com, where he was responsible for all the financial editorial content, television operations and technology.
Wayport and Yahoo partnered on a localized Wi-Fi portal for the hospitality industry. Local services will be provided by Yahoo. Wayport will gain revenue from Yahoo’s sponsored search, display advertising, and shopping services, which it will share with hotels.
BlogTalkRadio named Lisa Padilla VP of marketing. Padilla was a consultant for clients including Yahoo, Philips Electronics, EMI, AOL, Netgear and Marriott.
