Deep Focus Adds New Managing Director and First ECD. The interactive marketing agency hired Amy Eagle as managing director. She was previously general manager at global mobile marketing agency The Hyperfactory.
In addition, Deep Focus promoted Ken Kraemer (left, image credit Deep Focus) to executive creative director. Kraemer has been with the company since 2009 as group creative director. He said the addition of the a creative director on the executive level will allow the agency to evolve and create more excellent content and user experiences in the future.

Eleven Inc. Welcomes Lisa Bari as First Director of Search Marketing. Bari, who moved to Eleven Inc. after serving as the Director of Client Services for AKQA San Francisco, will head search marketing for Virgin America as well as lead Eleven’s efforts to develop and expand its search business.
Swedish Investment Enables Burt to Expand Globally. Online advertising software developer Burt has received over 2.2 million dollars US in investments from Swedish company Industrifonden. The funds will enable Burt to expand from its Swedish headquarters to establish offices in the USA and UK. In addition Burt will continue development of its analytics platform “Rich.”
