Levi’s Tapped Wunderman as Its First Global Digital Agency. WPP-owned Wunderman will work in partnership with Levi’s global media agency, OMD, and its creative agency, Wieden+Kennedy. The jeans maker issued this statement: “We believe Wunderman’s strategic, creative and analytical capabilities, along with its global reach and operational efficiency, make them the ideal partner to build upon the brand’s momentum in the digital arena.”
Apple Hired Todd Teresi to Run Its iAd Mobile Ad Network, Bloomberg Reports. He most recently led Adobe’s media solutions, prior to which he held senior management roles with Quantcast and Yahoo’s publisher network.
Arc Worldwide Builds Mobile Site for Whirlpool. An interactive tool aims to provide appliance shoppers with the means to find a machine geared to their needs. It includes side-by-side product comparisons, product reviews, and video demonstrations.
Digitas Hires Donna Biernadski to Lead the Sprint Business. Biernadski will be SVP of marketing for the business, which Digitas won recently. The assignment spans general advertising, offline media, digital buying and planning, and analytics. Biernadski’s CV includes roles at The Morton Arboretum and Wunderman.
Mediabrands Hires David Rosenberg as Managing Partner, IPG Media Lab. He previously served as director of innovation at LBi, briefly, before which he spent six years with JWT in New York.
Abby Spatz Joins MEC North America as Managing Partner. She’ll lead the Chanel account in the U.S., focusing on integrated media. Her experience includes time at eBay, Hilton Hotels, American Express, Momentum Worldwide, and McCann-Erickson.
IAB Names Millennial Media CEO Paul Palmieri to Board. The IAB Board has approximately 40 senior execs from large online media companies.
