Karim Temsamani returns to Asia as Google president of Asia-Pacific sales and operations. He is responsible for determining the business strategy for Google products such as AdWords, AdMob, and DoubleClick Ad Exchange across the 16 offices in the region. Temsamani joined Google as managing director for Australia and New Zealand in 2007 to lead its business and strategic partnerships. Three years later, he became the global head of mobile to oversee the growth of Google’s mobile ad business worldwide. His most recent role was Google’s VP for new products and solutions for America. Meanwhile, Daniel Alegre has relocated to California to lead partner business solutions globally at Google HQ in Mountain View.

Starcom MediaVest Group, part of Publicis Groupe’s media agency network, has promoted Andrew Wong, its head of digital to general manager for Hong Kong.
