ClickZ, SEW, ClickZ Live, and SES have been bought by Blenheim Chalcot in a move that is guaranteed to create a stronger brand that is bigger and better than ever before.
It’s official – we have been acquired and we couldn’t be more excited! As of today, the Interactive Marketing division comprising ClickZ, Search Engine Watch (SEW), ClickZ Live, and SES will be under the umbrella of Blenheim Chalcot.
Blenheim Chalcot is a well-established, U.K.-based digital media group consisting of Contentive Media, Bobsguide, and StrategyEye. The company also has a strong partnership with Google and produces a series of digital marketing courses.
What does that mean for us? Bigger, better, and so much MORE, obviously! The ClickZ, SEW, ClickZ Live, and SES teams are thrilled to be joining such an innovative company. With so many digital platforms under their wing and greater resources to share, our brands have a very exciting future. Cool, huh?
“I have known the founders of Blenheim Chalcot, Charles Mindenhall and Manoj Badale, for 15 years. They have an extraordinary track record of building and developing successful businesses and I could not think of a better new owner of ClickZ, SES, ClickZ Live, and SEW. Blenheim Chalcot will continue to invest in and develop the brands. In turn, the sale of our Interactive Marketing group will allow us to focus and invest on our core financial information business,” says Tim Weller, chairman and chief executive, Incisive Media.
Charles Mindenhall, co-founder, Blenheim Chalcot adds: “We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues at ClickZ, SES, ClickZ Live, and SEW. We are looking forward to continuing to grow and develop these great businesses, serving the digital marketing community worldwide.”
For now, the ClickZ, SEW, ClickZ Live, and SES teams will remain at Incisive Media’s office at 55 Broad Street, in order to ensure a smooth transition for all parties over the next six months. While it will continue to be “business as usual,” you can guarantee that this is just the beginning of some great things to come.
