Berkeley, CA-based CyberGold Inc., the “pay for attention” marketing company, made a serious of personnel changes.
Maurice Moore was named director of Midwest sales. Moore, 46, comes to CyberGold from PowerAgent, where he was sales director. Based in Chicago, he is responsible for creating and implementing sales strategies for all Midwest markets.
Allan J. Brown has been named membership marketing director. Brown, 37, has worked for the past four and a half years in the publishing industry, most recently as circulation director at String Letter Publishing.
F. Christopher Kolb, formerly production manager at CyberGold, has been appointed vice president of production. Kolb, 27, was a consultant for Illusionworks prior to joining CyberGold in 1996.
Bob Cart, formerly vice president of product marketing at CyberGold, has been named vice president of engineering. Cart, 33, came to CyberGold after founding and leading WestWorld Media, a network media development and Internet technology company. Previously, he acted as CEO of GulfStream Communications, a multititle consumer magazine publishing company in Charleston, SC.
CyberGold compensates consumers for viewing ads, participating in surveys, completing purchase transactions and fulfilling other advertiser requests.
