Consumer savings site dash.com has awarded its estimated $10 million to $15 million account to DiNoto Lee after a two-month review that included four other agencies.
DiNoto will handle overall brand development, off-line advertising and media, and online advertising and media.
dash.com, whose online browser companion helps consumers save money when they shop on the Web, said that the decision was based on DiNoto’s strategic and creative thinking, as well as chemistry and cultural fit.
“We chose DiNoto Lee because their understanding of the e-commerce marketplace will help us best promote dash to merchants and consumers,” said Andy Williams, executive vice president of marketing at dash.com.
dash.com offers a free service that combines cash-back savings with customized content delivered to the desktops of consumers using the Web.
dash members earn up to 25 percent cash back every time they shop at more than 100 online merchants, including jcrew.com, barnesandnoble.com, CDNOW, Reel.com, MotherNature.com, SmarterKids.com and PlanetRx.
DiNoto Lee, a $60 million full-service agency, has dot com clients that include Deja.com, ionbeauty and iCAST.
