The partnership includes advertising on discoveryhealth.com, which is an online health, medical, fitness, and nutrition portal, and the Discovery Health Channel, and will begin in the fourth quarter of this year.
Financial arrangements were not disclosed.
drugstore.com will become the exclusive provider of pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter products and nutraceuticals to discoveryhealth.com users.
In addition, drugstore.com will launch a series of 30-second spots on the Discovery Health Channel and other Discovery cable TV networks.
