eMarketer, an online business resource, and ChannelSeven.com, a networking source for Web development and advertising, said they formed a marketing alliance.
Sam Alfstad, eMarketer’s publisher and ChannelSeven.com CEO Bob Risse said in a statement that the newly formed network will leverage the core built by both organizations.
“This alliance will provide a complete network of marketing, advertising and statistical tools to help Internet executives make the best business decisions,” said Alfstad.
The first joint venture by the two organizations will be an in-depth report featuring statistical information and analysis covering all aspects of online advertising in the United States.
The agreement calls for eMarketer and ChannelSeven.com to produce an array of printed statistics and analytical news publications for the advertising and marketing segments of the Web. ChannelSeven.com users will gain insight from eMarketer’s comprehensive online marketing statistics and business news while eMarketer users will benefit from ChannelSeven’s understanding of the advertising organizations online.
eMarketer will also be joining the ChannelSeven.com Speaker’s Bureau, presenting current and predicted Internet related information to trade associations and companies around the world. Both companies will also place an emphasis on the European and worldwide marketplace. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“This alliance goes beyond co-marketing and sales,” said Risse. “In the rapidly evolving world of the Web, executives need a singular point of entry to access vital information that will help them to successfully conduct business online. This new network will increase reach for both organizations through all sectors of the Internet economy and around the globe.”
According to Alfstad, the alliance will strive to be known throughout the e-business community as “the first place to go when you have a question about online marketing and advertising.”
