She’ll outline some of the trends she’s seeing shake up the marketing industry, as well as some of the new channels that are offering brands new ways to engage and reach consumers.
There’s no doubt that marketing plans have been up-ended by the events of this year, but Philippa believes there’s never been a better time for marketers to re-think traditional approaches to media buying and explore exciting new channels like CTV and digital out-of-home.
As Senior Vice President, EMEA, Philippa leads the EMEA operational headquarters, driving revenue generation and new client acquisition strategy across the region.
Prior to The Trade Desk, Philippa led Facebook’s Global Business Marketing division, overseeing large teams across all markets in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. In this role, Philippa was responsible for driving revenue growth and market share among leading brand advertisers and agencies.
Prior to this, she served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Microsoft UK, overseeing marketing for the entire Microsoft portfolio. Over 16 years she has served in a range of other leadership roles at Microsoft, including Sales and Marketing Director, and Commercial Director for Windows Live.
Philippa is an honors professor and holds a bachelor’s degree from Coventry University and a master’s in business administration from The Open University. She is also a Fellow of the Global Marketing Academy.
