Campfire acquires social marketing agency; PubMatic steals exec from DoubleClick; AudienceScience names West Coast sales manager.
Campfire acquired The Advance Guard. The full service marketing firm bought the social media firm The Advance Guard, known as TAG. The two have worked together on campaigns for Snapple, HBO’s “True Blood,” and Discovery’s “Shark Week.”
Ad inventory optimization firm PubMatic added two to its management team. Andrew Rutledge will head the New York office as VP of publisher sales. He most recently directed DoubleClick’s agency and advertisers sales. Josh Wetzel hails from eBay and Web app firm Polyvore, and has been named VP of publisher services.
AudienceScience hired Stephanie Walton as West Coast sales manager. Walton has held executive roles at ABC/Disney, CBS, and Clear Channel. AudienceScience recently changed its name from Revenue Science.
Canada’s Yellow Pages Group has partnered with Spotzer Media Group. The video ad service was chosen to produce Web videos for YPG’s business clients. Spotzer’s videographers will film live Web videos on location.
