Execs & Accounts: Double Fusion, Critical Mass, Millennial Media

Double Fusion makes moves in its Casual and Core Games Groups; Critical Mass hires three; Paramount promotes "Eagle Eye" in a mobile campaign on Millennial Media.

Double Fusion made changes within its Casual and Core Games Groups. Jana Friedman was named vice president of sales for the Casual Games Group. Friedman’s most recent position was associate publisher of Brides.com at Condé Nast. She previously worked as senior director of online ad sales at Electronic Arts. Aaron Lassila was promoted to senior director of sales in the Core Games Group, where he will be responsible for the expanding national sales team. Lassila was previously in charge of overseeing Double Fusion’s branded entertainment business.

Omnicom’s Critical Mass expanded its creative team in Chicago. John Andexler, creative director, previously worked at Avenue A/Razorfish, Digitas, and Euro RSCG Life. Vanessa Donley, art director, was previously senior interactive art director at Abelson Taylor in Chicago; she also served as senior designer at Proxicom. Rina Mallick, associate creative director, was associate creative director at Young & Rubicam’s Wunderman prior to joining Critical Mass. Mallick also worked as a designer at Organic.

Paramount Pictures ran a mobile marketing campaign with Millennial Media to promote an upcoming film. The campaign promoted the theatrical release of D.J. Caruso’s “Eagle Eye” with actors Shia LaBeouf, Michelle Monaghan, and Rosario Dawson. The campaign, “Eagle Eye Mobile Challenge” began September 8, runs through September 28, represents Paramount’s most extensive mobile marketing initiative to date.

Ringleader Digital names Mark Herman chief financial officer. Herman has experience working at emerging technology companies. Prior to joining Ringleader, Herman was CFO at mFormation Technologies.

Apptera names former Quigo executive as its president and CEO. Henry Vogel, the new president and CEO, has nearly 20 years experience in digital media and consumer marketing industries. He was most recently chief revenue officer of Quigo.

G2 Interactive named Marc Garbarini executive creative director. Garbarini has 16 years experience at agencies including Organic, Digitas, Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners, McCann, Grey, Lowe and Wunderman, and has worked across all disciplines and across several categories such as finance, travel and leisure, and consumer packaged goods.
