Execs & Accounts: Draftfcb, Yahoo, Buddy Media

Patrick Moorhead goes to Draftfcb Chicago. Moorhead was previously with Razorfish as director of emerging media. At Draft, he’ll lead mobile initiatives in Chicago and across North America.

Yahoo promotes David Ko to top media role. Previously in charge of mobile audiences, Ko will now add responsibility for North America media properties, including Yahoo News, Sports, Finance, and Entertainment. He replaces Jeff Dossett, who left Yahoo in May.

Buddy Media builds Facebook Page for Etsy. Profile page aims to provide “individual sellers with mass exposure to buying audiences.”

Social network Hi5 hires Alex St. John St. John was a founder of games network WildTangent and a creator of Microsoft’s DirectX gaming platform. He joins hi5 as president and CTO.

Brand.net hires three in the Midwest. Jay Beckley, most recently a regional VP at Yahoo, will lead the central region, while John Corrigan and Jeff Brown will join the sales team. The hires follow the launch of a Detroit office.

NetShelter Technology Media hires CFO. Mike Farrow joins tech-focused ad network from Jumpstart Automotive Media.

Digital agency POP hires three. Anil Batra is named VP of search and analytics, Matt Joe VP of technology, and Lance Williams VP of client development.
