Execs & Accounts: Emerge Partners, Organic, Hill Holliday

Emerge Partners names Bruce Lee its creative dragon: Organic promotes two; Hill Holiday depicts PJ Bland in a social media campaign for Chili's.

Creative dragon joins Emerge Partners. Bruce Lee joined digital and direct agency Emerge Partners, and was given the newly-created title creative dragon. Lee was previously executive creative director at OgilvyOne. He has experience in both direct and traditional marketing agencies including Wunderman, Scali, and Ammirati.

Organic promotes two to senior roles. Conor Brady was named senior vice president and chief creative officer. He has over 15 years experience as a designer and creative director. When he joined Organic in 2006 he held the role of vice president of creative and group creative director. Steve Kerho was promoted to senior vice president of analytics, media, and marketing optimization. His previous role at Organic was director of interactive marketing and media for Nissan North America.

Hill Holliday works with Chili’s on a campaign. A new Chili’s campaign introduces the world to PJ Bland, a fictional chain owner, in a social media campaign using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and sites created by Hill Holiday.

Red Door Interactive brings century-old insurance broker online. Barney & Barney, an insurance broker, selected San Diego-based Red Door Interactive to launch a new Internet presence. The new site incorporated the recent merger of Barney & Barney and corporate insurance broker Saylor & Hill.

Responsys names John Berkley VP of product marketing. Berkley previously held senior positions in product marketing and product management at Oracle, Topica, and Tealeaf. He was entrepreneur-in-residence with several venture capital firms and served as interim CEO of Revcube, an online marketing optimization startup.

Joey Jodar returns to Heavy. Jodar is now Heavy.com’s director of East Coast sales. He left to in December to become SVP and managing director of Ripe Digital. Judah Weidre and Tony Calega also joined Heavy.com as senior director of West Coast sales and senior media strategic planner, respectively.

NaturalPath Media gets Move.com and Knight Ridder sales veteran. Tom Kelley joined NaturalPath Media, a sustainable and healthy living media network, as vice president, East Coast sales, a newly-created position. He was previously national sales director of Move.com and Realtor.com. He spent six years at Knight Ridder/McClatchy Interactive, where he led the expansion of Real Cities.

A Yahoo moves to interCLICK. Dave Myers, former Yahoo senior director of advertiser marketplace operations, was named vice president of ad operations at behavioral targeting platform interCLICK. Myers spent time at Microsoft as enterprise services engagement manager.
