Euro RSCG wins new business from Hainan Airlines and Grotto Cellars. Euro RSCG San Francisco’s new integrated model, which included the acquisition of digital shop Kadium, will serve both clients. Both wins came as a result of competitive reviews.
Critical Mass, a unit of Omnicom Digital, appointed Jason Theodor creative director. Industry veteran Theodor is known for branding, blogging, lecturing, and served as creative director at Ogilvy and MacLaren McCann before coming to Critical Mass. He led online branding initiatives for Yahoo, Dove, GM, Rogers, Cisco, American Express, IBM, Mattel, Microsoft, Nestle, and Sony.
Avenue A | Razorfish promoted three in its Philadelphia office. Bill Horan was promoted to senior art director. Mark Hunter was promoted from program director to delivery discipline lead. Chris Tuleya went from being search strategist to associate search director. The agency also named Beth Ortman senior information architect. Ortman works in the Fort Lauderdale, FL, office.
Organic became the digital agency of record for Nike Canada. Organic plans to work closely with Nike Canada and its offline agencies to engage consumers in digital conversations across online communities.
Zeta Interactive added five clients to its roster. New clients include Pep Boys, SourceMedia, NewsMarket, United Water, and Tablet Hotels.
Range Online Media won Godiva Chocolatier as a new client. Range will lead Godiva’s integrated online strategy including paid search, search engine optimization, and media services.
Social Network hi5 has chosen ad network Oridian to handle its ad sales in France, Italy, and Australia. Hi5 will be integrated into Oridian’s publisher portfolio in each of the local markets.
James McDonald joined online marketing firm PV Media Group. He was named VP of corporate sales and development, a newly-created role. McDonald left M6 Media, a consulting firm he started in 2005, to join PV Media. In 2004 and 2005 he served as president and publisher of Newsco.
The Tribune named John Hendricks executive vice president of broadcast and interactive sales. Hendricks will oversee national and local efforts for Tribune’s 23 local TV stations, and also over 50 Web sites operated by the company’s broadcast, publishing, and interactive divisions.
