DoubleClick hires CFO; Pelin Wood resigns at WebSideStory; SideStep gets a CMO.
DoubleClick hired Charlie Dickson as chief financial officer. The digital marketing and technology services firm hired Dickson away from his position as board member and chief financial officer for United Components, an automotive parts manufacturing company.
AOL named Andy Spillane as vice president of product development for messaging and social media. Spillane is responsible for AOL’s messaging and social media products, including AIM, AOL Community and AOL Voice products. He returns to AOL after two years as vice president and general manager for Yahoo Mail.
Seevast promoted Mark Josephson to president, and hired Jaan Janes as SVP business development for Pulse 360. Seevast owns and operates marketing services businesses, including Pulse 360, Kanoodle and Moniker. Josephson will oversee the company’s sales, business development, marketing and client services efforts, while Janes joined the sponsored links division of Seevast, Pulse 360, from the sales development team at AOL.
SideStep named Nancy Ramamurthi as chief marketing officer. The travel search engine company hired Ramamurthi away from her position as senior director of eBay’s global classifieds business unit.
Pelin Wood resigned from WebSideStory. Wood, the senior vice president of marketing for the customer intelligence solutions provider, has resigned to pursue other opportunities. Wood will remain as an advisor to the company while a replacement is found.
WhitePages.com selected Omniture to drive a targeted search marketing strategy. The online provider of people search will use Omniture SearchCenter to optimize keyword search returns.
IQ Interactive hired two execs. Bob Morris joins as vice president of client services, and Tim Tewell as creative director.
Spotzer Media Group hired Rick Klein to build and manage U.S. sales activities. Klein spent five years consulting with TMP Worldwide and Monster Worldwide recruiting and training sales talent.
Landor Associates promoted two execs. The brand and design consultancy promoted Leslie Crombie to executive director, client development, while Tessa Westermeyer was named executive creative director. Both work in Landor’s Cincinnati office.
Eyeblaster appointed Lori Dicker as director of West Coast account management. The integrated digital marketing services and technology company hired Dicker away from her position as director of the West Coast digital media and entertainment practice at Organic.
