Nationwide taps Temerlin McClain Interactive for big online campaign; SendTec hires two; Transcendigital adds to client roster.

Temerlin McClain Interactive developed and launched a campaign for client Nationwide, an insurance and financial services firm. The “Life comes at you fast” online campaign consists of a variety of ad units, including skyscrapers and Eyeblasters.

The online work, estimated at $1.5 million, follows a TV, print and outdoor campaign that broke earlier this month.

Direct response and digital advertising company SendTec hired Shani Reardon as media director and Timothy Daly as director of marketing and strategy.

For eight years, Reardon was director of marketing and customer service at Hoveround Corporation. Daly was an independent marketing consultant, holding senior marketing positions at Office Depot and Hanover Direct.

Digital marketing agency Transcendigital added furniture distributor TEMA-USA and The Connecticut Forum to its client roster, and expanded its relationship with Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo to become its agency of record.

The Avon, Conn.-based firm also recently hired Steffi Williams in a public relations role. Williams was marketing director for Rudolf Erdel, a luxury designer brand, and public relations account executive with marketing agency Mascola.

CheckM8 signed several new clients to use its rich media manager product. They include Cox Newspapers, ad sales and technology firm Ad2-One, and U.K. portal and ISP FreeServe.

RLM public relations picked up largest U.S. cable operator Comcast and P2P file trading network e-Donkey as clients.

RLM implements media and communications plans for Comcast’s nascent ad sales division; for e-Donkey, RLM is providing media relations services to enhance eDonkey’s brand recognition in the mainstream.
