Organic hires San Francisco office director; ESPN creates digital and cross media measurement position; VideoEgg makes three sales hires.
Organic hired Ali Grayeli as group creative director for the San Francisco office. Grayeli comes from Agency.com, where he was executive creative director. He will be responsible for leading the Mitsubishi and Geek Squad accounts.
VideoEgg hired new execs in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York. The online video company hired Dan Drescher for The Eggnetwork sales force in Los Angeles, Brian McFarland as director of the New York sales office, and Andrew Yeager as head of a new Midwest office in Chicago.
ESPN named Dr. Thomas Evans as vice president, digital and cross media measurement. The sports network created the position for Evans, who will focus on research programs to support digital media growth, including ad sales, brand and content development.
Q Interactive hired Brad Feldmar as vice president business development. Feldmar was previously vice president of sales for Merkle, and replaces Kim Smith, who has been promoted to senior vice president business development.
The California State Automobile Association (CSAA) selected Bluestreak. A chapter of AAA, the CSAA will use Bluestreak’s ionMX e-mail marketing platform to promote its new GPS product launch.
SubscriberMail hired John Sather as vice president, sales. The e-mail marketing company wooed Sather away from DMX, where he was director of sales and area general manager.
Spunlogic hired Dan Dooley as vice president of client services. The interactive marketing and technology agency hired Dooley away from Georgia Pacific where he was director, eMarketing and consumer relationship marketing.
Kosmix named Jonathan Miller to its board of directors. Miller is the former AOL Chairman and CEO. Kosmix is a Web content categorization engine company.
Vizu Corporation hired Brett Powell as its executive vice president of business development. The market research company hired Powell from MarketTools, an online market research firm.
