R/GA adds analytics vets to executive ranks; Accipiter beefs up staff.
R/GA hired Barbara Canning Brown as director of analytics/CRM and Judy Oppenheim as director of research. Both are newly created positions in the agency’s strategy, planning and integration department.
Canning Brown was with Interpublic sister agencies FCB/ANALYTICi, Draft and The Sloan Group. Oppenheim was VP of JPMorgan’s corporate Internet group.
Accipiter recently made three hires and four promotions. Joining the firm are Geoff Alexander, director of product strategy, who was senior manager of bizdev at AOL; Bryan Holjes, director of sales account management; and Chris Hanburger, inside sales manager. Promotions include Kay Burgess, who becomes chief operating officer, and Will Clayton, bumped up to product manager.
USA Swimming used ePrize to support its “We Want You On Our Team” campaign. EPrize built a digital promotion to support the client’s effort to increase memberships on swim teams across the U.S. It launched August 5.
Klipmart hired Matt Pasternak as SVP of sales. Pasternak joins from InsightExpress, where he was VP of ad development and measurement. He replaces Rick Kleckzowski, who was promoted to VP of business development.
AlmondNet named Mark Dorf to its board of advisors. Dorf is co-founder and managing partner of Acuity Media Group.
Kevin Ryan, formerly of Wahlstrom Interactive and Did-It, has joined Zunch Communications as VP of strategy. Zunch offers a PPC auditing system intended to help marketers identify click fraud.
Turner Sports Interactive tapped Kanoodle to provide sponsored links on its Web properties. Nascar.com and PGA.com will exclusively carry Kanoodle’s listings.
The Employment & Career Channel tapped Lightningcast to handle video ad insertion on its network, and for its ads distributed on CareerBuilder.com. The company will use Lightningcast’s hosted product.
