Third Screen media hires Lazaros; EA's Shumaker goes to DoubleFusion; MobiTV brings in a Swede; ClickShift and Connected Media Technologies each made multiple hires.

Third Screen Media named Nancy Lazaros as chief financial officer where she will be on hand to support financing, corporate development and core business initiatives. Lazaros has advised companies on business plans and corporate strategies as a consultant. She also held the position of VP of business operations research for DoubleClick.

In-game ad firm DoubleFusion tapped Julie Shumaker as VP of sales. At her previous post as national director of sales at Electronic Arts, Shumaker inked a seven-figure product placement deal for “The Sims” franchise with placements from McDonalds and Intel.

MobiTV imported Kay Johansson from Swedish mobile company Popwire to fill the position of chief technology officer. He will be responsible for the creation, development and deployment of mobile television technologies on mobile devices and PCs over several networks. In his six years at Popwire, Johansson led the licensing, product strategy and development of mobile and broadcast media applications and technologies.

Online ad optimization firm ClickShift brought in Eddie Smith as VP of marketing. Smith was previously VP of business development with NexTag. He previously worked for DoubleClick, USADATA and Reuters Marketing Information. ClickShift also hired Jeff Goodman as VP of sales and John Pacholski as VP of finance.

Digital media marketing solutions provider Connected Media Technologies strengthened its management team with the appointment of Isidro “Izzy” Gonzalez as president, and Mark Mayo as CFO. Both executives hold seats on the company’s board of directors. Gonzales will lead the company’s sales operation. His 20 years of experience includes work at Sony Pictures Television International, CBS Station Group’s Miami affiliate and The Weather Channel Latin America. Mayo co-founde NewsProNet and held positions at FASTV.com and the Worldwide Broadcasting Network.
