Agency.com names two New York execs; Yahoo gets Schinella back but loses Krieger to Denuo.
Agency.com hired two execs. The digital agency hired Steven Nasi as creative director and David Sansone as director of information architecture in its New York office. Nasi joined from Ogilvy New York where he was partner/associate creative director while Sansone was director of user experience for the Freelancers Union.
Yahoo named Jim Schinella senior vice president, corporate partnerships. Schinella is returning to Yahoo; he was previously global VP of business development for the mobile and broadband businesses from 2003 to 2005.
Denuo hired Todd Krieger as senior vice president. The futures practice and division of Publicis Groupe created the position for Krieger, who was previously executive producer at Yahoo Media Group.
ClearSaleing agency was launched by Adam Goldberg and Michael Lanese. Goldberg was formerly a Google sales manager who co-founded the agency to work with Internet retailers and direct marketers on their Google AdWords and other search engine marketing and online sales campaigns. Lanese is chief executive officer.
EMI picked Saatchi & Saatchi to help market its catalog. EMI Music Marketing’s catalog unit tasked the agency with developing the marketing campaigns for key titles from its catalog of albums for both physical and digital formats.
Time Inc. named four execs to its Southern Progress Corporation division. SPC Digital, the digital division of the home and lifestyle subsidiary of the Tim Warner unit., named Jim Sexton as senior vice president and editorial director of Time’s SPC Digital. Steve Zales joins as senior vice president and general manager, and Andrea DiCastro as executive producer and Dane Sorensen as marketing director.
BeautyRiot.com selected Quattro Wireless to create its mobile Web site. The fashion, beauty and celebrity news site will use Quattro Wireless’ systems format its advertising content for mobile devices.
Habbo named Jeannine Lewis as advertising sales director for North America. The online virtual community for teenagers hired Lewis from a position as senior consumer account executive at Variety.
Lawyer Links selected JangoMail for subscriber alerts. The publisher of specialized legal content will use JangoMail to distribute Advantage Alerts to subscribers and manage its customer database by integrating the product with its existing Microsoft SharePoint application.
MediaSpan relocated its corporate headquarters to Ann Arbor, MI. The digital content management, online marketing and national advertising firm is leaving Raleigh, NC. State of Michigan tax incentives influenced the decision.
