Digitas promoted Mark Beeching to global executive creative director. Formerly creative director of Digitas New York, Beeching has overseen work for American Express, AOL and The New York Times. Now he’ll spearhead a network-wide creative approach and lead all executive creative directors while remaining a contact point for major clients.
“He is both a creator of great work and a leader of great talent; he ignites a creative fire in every client and team he touches,” said Digitas President Laura Lang.
Digitas’ merger with Modem Media is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
Eyeblaster’s VideoClip Module ads are now deployed in campaigns on WWE.com and Style.com, the first sites to support the in-stream video ad and content offering. The module, launched earlier this year, combines online video with Flash-based interactivity.
Espotting Media promoted Chrys Philalithes to European marketing director and Max Moore to director of syndication and traffic.
Philalithes, formerly U.K. marketing director, will now oversee all marketing across Europe. Earlier, she was new business manager with ad agency WCRS. Moore was previously affiliate director, and he has held sales posts with Reuters and Oracle.
John Zaterka will direct online video provider EyeWonder’s West Coast sales operation as director of that region. Zaterka was a senior sales exec with Intervu, and regional manager of media sales with RealNetworks.
