Advertising.com named Jack Macleod to lead its new Los Angeles sales office as senior sales director. This is the AOL-owned company’s fifth U.S. office.

“Having an office in L.A. will allow us to develop stronger relationships with our current clients and to better capture new opportunities in this growing market,” said Jeremy Helfand, senior VP of advertising services.

Marketing firm The Think Tank promoted three staff to executive posts in the areas of creative and client services. Jay Suhr was named senior VP of creative services and account planning; Kirk Drummond will be VP of creative and innovation; and John McGarry shifted to VP of client services.

Digital marketing consultancy Meandaur was tapped by Choice Hotels Region 12 Marketing Co-Op to develop an interactive marketing strategy for its membership. The coop is a franchisee group of approximately 300 Choice Brand hotels in the states of Arizona, California and Nevada.

“We chose Meandaur because of their long history of success within the travel vertical and because of the results oriented approach,” said John Wang, chairman of the coop’s e-commerce committee.

Lands’ End has deployed Coremetrics’ hosted Web analytics solution. The retailer of rugged apparel will use the product to assess traffic and usage patterns on its Web site.

Falk eSolutions AG picked up three ad serving clients. Gorilla Nation Media is a media sales company; Kaboose Inc. runs an online network of kids sites; and Track Entertainment develops entertainment-oriented marketing programs. Falk said the new business brings its ad serving total to approximately 12 billion impressions per month from 150 clients worldwide.
