Google is said to have named Eileen Naughton head of NY ad sales. According to published reports, the former president of “Time” magazine will assume her role in several months, reporting to Penry Price, eastern sales director.

Agency.com opened Agency.com Dublin this week with sister company Cawley NeaTBWA. The shop’s worldwide clients include: British Airways, Dulux, Heineken, IKEA, T-mobile and VISA.

The Mobile Marketing Association appointed three new board members. Joining are Alltel Communications, The Coca-Cola Company and Soren Schafft. The board also presented Isobar with a two year founding member appointment.

AKQA appointed Tim Pierce chief financial officer. Pierce comes from Fields Holding Company, where he was CFO for the Mrs. Fields Cookies global franchisor. He also spend 12 years as a senior auditor with Price Waterhouse and Deloitte & Touche. He served eight years as CFO at SBI Group. Pierce is also currently a director of BriteSmile.

ValueClick upped Carl White to the CEO slot of ValueClick Europe. White has managed ValueClick Europe since January 2001, and has been COO of ValueClick Europe since June 2005. He continues to oversee all the company’s Europe’s operations. Earlier, White was COO of 24/7 Europe.

Backfence named Darian Patchin vice president of marketing and promoted Amanda Graham to vice president of sales. Patchin is a longtime Internet industry veteran who previously was VP Advertising for Tribe.net. Graham, a former executive of a community newspaper chain in the Washington, D.C. area, joined the company in January as director of sales. The company is building a network of hyperlocal community news, information and advertising sites.

OddCast created a viral campaign for AstraZeneca’s Purple Pill. The goal of the Purple Plus Program Postcard effort is to raise awareness on heartburn, acid reflux disease (ARD) and the Purple Pill and boost membership in the Purple Plus program through viral marketing tactics. Talking avatars deliver information on eight U.S.-based vacation destinations and offer details on healthier living, heartburn and ARD.

24/7 Real Media added COO to Jonathan Hsu’s many duties. He’s already EVP and CFO. The move formalizes roles and responsibilities that he has overseen over the past few years, says the company.

Ken Takahasi decamped to Return Path. The former DoubleClick e-mail executive will be VP of corporate and international development.

Ad sales company Winstar Interactive has added Rand McNally and ThirdAge.com to its network.

Creative agency ATTIK’s San Francisco office created the role of associate creative director for Ron Lim. Lim had been freelancing with ATTIK since leaving Foote, Cone & Belding, San Francisco, where he served as senior art director for five years. At FCB he worked on brands including Amazon.com, Kikkoman, Sega, Taco Bell and Zima. Earlier, Lim was a senior art director at McCann-Erickson.
