Oodle hires Knight Ridder vet Lloyd; Atmosphere BBDO wins Starwood Hotels account; Efficient Frontier gets search duties for Fox Interactive Media.

Knight Ridder vet Lem Lloyd, who oversaw print and online classifieds for the company’s 31 newspapers and Web sites, has joined online classifieds aggregator Oodle as VP of sales and business development. He’ll concentrate on growing partnerships and distribution deals to increase Oodle’s traffic. At Knight Ridder, Lloyd had involvement with CareerBuilder.com, Cars.com and Apartments.com.

Starwood Hotels and Resorts made Atmosphere BBDO the digital agency of record for its “Luxury Collection” group of hotels and resorts. A Web-based program with “branding and transactional programs” will launch by end of year. The assignment followed a review.

Efficient Frontier won Fox Interactive Media’s search marketing business. The company will handle bid and performance management of paid search across numerous units, including FOXSports.com, IGN.com, MySpace.com, RottenTomatoes.com, AskMen.com, Scout.com and GameSpy.com.

inFreeda, which offers a free directory assistance services on 1-800-411-METRO, will sell ads through Vizi Media.. The agreement covers audio and text ads served to mobile handsets.

Napster tapped Winstar Interactive to handle its national ad sales. The deal includes Napster’s inclusion in the company’s new Interactive Video Network (IVN). Winstar also recently signed Randmcnally.com and ThirdAge.com.

Digital Influence Group hired Cinny Little as EVP. Little was an SVP at Pearson School Technology. Earlier she was director of new media at Harvard Business School Publishing.

Global creative agency Attik hired Michele Morris as senior producer in its L.A. offices. She’s worked freelance on the agency’s campaigns for Scion and AOL/AIM Mail campaigns.

DailyComedy.com will use Accipiter for online ad management. The site launched last week.
