Sci Fi Channel goes to Tribal DDB; Consorte steals execs from Univision; Massive plays Soccer.
NBC Universal awarded Tribal DDB the Sci Fi Channel’s digital marketing account.
Consorte Media hired two execs, and was selected by Best Buy to promote its Spanish language Web site. The Hispanic ad network hired Tiffany Terrazzano and Carlos Restrepo away from Univision and named them both vice presidents of advertising sales, regional.
The Association for Downloadable Media (ADM) named its inaugural board. The ADM is an organization for creating standards for advertising and audience measurement for episodic and downloadable media. Chris MacDonald, EVP business development and operations for Libsyn was named chairman, while Susan Bratton, CEO of Personal Life Media, was elected vice chairman.
Konami Digital Entertainment signed on with Massive for in-game advertising with ProEvolution Soccer 2008. The video game advertising network, a subsidiary of Microsoft, is currently running campaigns from Opel and Renault via the game.
New York Daily News selected WebTrends for online behavior analysis. The newspaper will use the WebTrends Analytics system on NYDailyNews.com.
