Marquez was director of corporate development for Yahoo, where he was involved with acquisitions, investments and other strategic moves. The Huffington Post hired Advertising.com’s chief of publisher services, Jim Smith, as chief revenue officer. He’ll oversee ad sales, including the company’s relationship with IAC Advertising Solutions to represent its inventory. Prior to Advertising.com, Smith was SVP of partner alliances for AOL Media Networks.
