WhenU gets new salespeople; Maxim.com's parent gets behavioral; and Dakota Sullivan finds new gig.

WhenU hired Mark Dillon as VP of sales for the central and Western regions and Sandie Milberg as director of Eastern ad sales. Dillon was VP of sales at Advertising.com. Milberg was Claria’s sales director.

Dennis Digital tapped Revenue Science to provide behavioral targeting across its men’s lifestyle sites. Audience segments will include gamers, auto enthusiasts and gadget freaks.

Dakota Sullivan has departed LookSmart to join Blue Lithium. He’s the new CMO there.

Responsys added several email marketing clients. They include The Sharper Image, Dollardays International, and The Wine Enthusiast.

Geary Interactive named Laurie Arakawa to lead its new office in New York. Arakawa was director of account services in the agency’s headquarters in San Diego.

SEM tech provider Inceptor hired Jon Lawford as director of new business development for the U.K. and continental Europe. He joins as the company opens an office in London.

SEM firm SpiderSplat Consulting hired Sean Carney as director of sales and marketing. Carney was national sales director for email marketing firm IMN.
