AOL Latino gets new programming director; Epsilon hires three.
AOL has named Miguel Ferrer programming director of AOL Latino. Ferrer is tasked with programming AOL’s Spanish language service areas including Noticias (News), Deportes (Sports), Entretenimiento (Entertainment), MÚsica (Music), AutomÓviles (Automobiles), Tu Vida (Lifestyle) and Dinero y Éxito (Money & Empowerment). Ferrer will report to Ralph Rivera, vice president and general manager of AOL Latino.
Epsilon appointed three VPs. The marketing services company appointed Doug Garfinkel VP of media and acquisition services for the interactive services group and made Ron Shevlin and Jared Blank VPs of client solutions.
Car and Driver magazine selected Nellymoser to aid its mobile publishing efforts. The magazine, published by Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S., will use Nellymoser’s ASAO platform to provide content to mobile devices.
Participant Productions named Adrian Sexton executive vice president in charge of digital. Sexton will report to Jim Berk, CEO of the Los Angeles-based film production company.
mSnap appointed Timothy Favia president and CEO. Martin Kristiseter, former CEO and founder of the mobile marketing technology company, will remain with the company as executive vice president.
Ad network Turn named Bill Demas to board of directors. Demas most recently served as senior vice president of Yahoo’s Publishing Network Group.
Tremor Media added four members to its sales force and two to its marketing department. The video and rich media advertising network hired Richard Powell, Paul Sluberski and Justin Schacter as regional sales managers, and Becky Gibson and Eric Saccullo as account managers. Tremor also named Corey Kronengold director of corporate communications and John Cintron as a senior graphic designer.
Shopzilla President John Phelps and Chief Product Officer Farhad Mohit have left the firm. William Glass, former chief operating officer, has been named president.
Nurun named Michael Fuller vice president of U.S. operations. Nurun is a global interactive marketing agency known in Canada as nurun | ant farm interactive.
