Imageworks Interactive names senior execs; Elkin leaves iCrossing for Steak Media; Ogilvy New York hires Fleishhacker.
Sony Pictures Imageworks Interactive hired one exec and promoted another. The digital marketing strategy and content firm hired Robert Speiser as vice president of marketing and promoted JD Black to vice president of client services. Speiser joined from the Designory Agency (Omnicom Group), while Black was previously executive director of marketing and client services. The company was formed in September from the combined digital marketing and production unit of Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment and Imageworks.
Steak Media hired Noah Elkin as vice president of corporate strategy. The U.K. search and digital marketing agency hired Elkin from iCrossing where he was vice president of corporate strategy. Miva’s Chrysi Philalithes, VP global marketing and communications, has also joined Steak.
Ogilvy New York hired Marc Fleishhacker as senior partner & managing director of the agency�s marketing technology consulting practice. The agency created the position for Fleishhacker, who was previously SVP marketing at Digitas in Boston.
Vendaria Media named Rick Fawcett vice president of sales. Before joining the online marketing firm Fawcett served as the vice president of sales at Colloquis, a start-up acquired by Microsoft in October, 2006.
BGT Partners hired Robin Goldberg as director of client services. Goldberg was previously an account director at Tribal DDB and Agency.com.
Adverplex named George McHorney chief financial officer. The search engine marketing firm hired McHorney from Electric Red where he was chief operating office and chief financial officer.
Mike’s Hard Lemonade selected RJ Palmer for its digital buying and planning. The beverage company had previously worked with the agency from 2001 to 2003.
