Unica expanded its European and Asian team. The provider of enterprise marketing management (EMM) software appointed Marcel Holsheimer vice president of marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Edmund Ang managing director, Asia. Unica also opened a Dutch office.

The Mobile Marketing Association named members of its 2007 North American board of directors. Cyriac Roeding, executive vice president, CBS Mobile, was made global and North American chairman for 2007, while Jay Emmet, president of mobile transaction network mBlox, was elected North American vice chairman for 2007. Michael Becker, the executive vice president of business development for iLoop Mobile, a mobile technology and services company, also joined the board.

Informative appointed William Thompson as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Thompson oversees the marketing and distribution strategy for Informative’s Adaptive Conversation technology.

Miva Media signed new partner agreements. The online advertising network’s pay-per-click ads will be displayed on TransWorldNews, Argusauto.com, Boursier.com, Sport1, MyVideo.de and Grupo Zeta Web sites.

Brian West, was named chief financial officer of The Nielsen Company. West was most recently chief financial officer for GE Aviation, Infrastructure, and succeeds Rob Ruijter.

Stefano Maruzzi has been named president of CondéNet International. Maruzzi will be based in Milan and was previously director of strategy and content-international for MSN, Microsoft’s consumer portal.
