SEMPO selects 2007 board; Firstborn welcomes back Park.

SearchRev appointed Kate Burns as board advisor. Burns will focus on the search marketing firm’s new London-based European operation. She was formerly Google’s chief of European operations.

The Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization has selected its 2007 board of directors. The association’s directors are Chris Boggs, Avenue A/Razorfish; Massimo Burgio, Global Search Interactive; Fionn Downhill, Elixir Systems; Dave Fall, DoubleClick; Duane Forrester, Sports Direct; Sara Holoubek, free agent consultant; Gordon Hotchkiss, Enquiro; Bill Hunt, Global Strategies International; Kevin Lee, Did-It; Jeffrey Pruitt, iCrossing; Tanya Rietze, Hewlett-Packard; Dana Todd, SiteLab; and Dave Williams, 360i.

Firstborn appointed Joonyong Park as creative director. Park is returning to the interactive design and technology studio after having spent the last two years working in Korea. Firstborn also promoted Kevin Arthur to executive vice president and hired Ethan Farber as director of business development.
