24/7 Real Media makes numerous executive appointments in three countries; Scripps hires Brink to lead interactive research; Double Fusion adds to board.
24/7 Real Media made numerous hires in three countries. In New York, Deepak Srinivasan joins as VP of product management and Dwight Green as director of data and direct marketing. In London, the company promoted Rob Wilson to managing director of its U.K. business. In Tokyo, Akira Yoshikai was named EVP of K.K. 24/7 Search, the company’s joint venture with Japanese ad agency Dentsu.
Also in the U.S., Ari Bluman was promoted to SVP of U.S. sales; Matt Kain to SVP of business development; John Piccone to VP of East Coast sales; and Robert Hess to VP of Midwest and West Coast sales, among others.
Scripps Networks hired Cheryl Brink as VP of interactive research and analytics. Brink was VP of research and market intelligence for CNET.
In-game ad agency Double Fusion added Jonathan Epstein to its board. Epstein co-heads the games and interactive division at Beverly Hills talent agency UTA.
Speaking of in-game ads, game media network Massive Inc. donated media to The Ad Council in support of a campaign to prevent kids from dropping out of school. The campaign was created pro bono by JWT New York.
Tacoda hired Michelle DaPolito as director of marketing, replacing David Markowitz, who has disembarked a year after being hired. She was previously a senior manager of online marketing at LendingTree. The company also hired Erik Kirk as director of ad operations, a new post. He led online ad operations for McCann Worldgroup. No word on where Markowitz is heading.
