NBC Universal named Jeff Zucker president and CEO. Zucker is succeeding Bob Wright, who remains vice chairman of General Electric Company. Zucker has been CEO of the NBC Universal Television Group since 2005.
Online video site Metacafe has hired a new CEO, and vice president. Former Electronic Arts executive Erick Hachenburg has joined Metacafe as CEO, replacing Arik Czerniak who is stepping down but will remain at the company to focus on products and strategy. Metacafe has also named Erik Smith as vice president of content and programming, responsible for building new media partnerships.
Tremor Media named two new vice presidents. The video and rich media advertising network and technology provider named Dan Scherer vice president of publisher relations, and Rob Grossberg vice president of business operations.
Collective Media appointed a new CTO and a vice president. The online advertising network named Chris Putnam as chief technology officer, and Chip Russo as VP of the Western region. Both will report directly to Joe Apprendi, chief executive officer of Collective Media.
AdMob hired T.S. Ramakrishnan as vice president of engineering. Ramakrishnan joins the mobile advertising marketplace firm from social network Facebook where he was VP of engineering.

dotMobi named James Pearce as VP of technology. The worldwide registry for the .mobi top-level domain has tasked Pearce with working with standards bodies and the development community on developer initiatives.
KickApps Corporation hired David George. The branded user-generated content and social networking solutions provider made George EVP of business development, sales, and client services.
Whiteboard Labs has expanded its management team. The Web development company named Estella Hale as client services manager and Colin Rowley as development manager.
Web site design company eCalton has changed its name to Blue Tangerine Solutions. The change comes after the company’s purchase by Greg Bray, former vice president of operations for eCalton.
CBS Radio has selected Operative for its ad operations software and trafficking services. The major-market radio operator will be implementing Operative digital inventory management systems to organize proposals, insertion orders, inventory management, and finance reconciliation.
