Zain Raj was named CEO of Euro RSCG Discovery. Raj previously held the post of EVP and CMO of Euro RSCG Chicago, and will continue as global practice leader, retail brands, for the agency worldwide.

Meebo hired Carter Brokaw as chief revenue officer. Brokaw will head advertising sales and monetization strategy, and be based in the New York office. He was most recently at Warner Music Group, and at CNET Networks prior to that.

Social commerce solution and training company Powered signed with Coremetrics. Coremetrics will provide tools and data to measure the performance of Powered’s Web 2.0 social commerce applications.

MediaWhiz acquired LeadROI’s Lead Management System. The technology gets MediaWhiz into the campaign process from lead generation to sales conversion.

TheFind.com will power customized shopping search for Elle.com.

TargetSpot partnered with eight new radio groups and syndicators. The streaming media advertising company made deals with nationally-syndicated and regional stations including Fox News Radio, NRG Media (Omaha), Peak Broadcasting (Idaho), Woodward Radio Group (Wisconsin), Dick Broadcasting (Raleigh-Durham), Steel City Media (Pittsburgh), Mel Wheeler (Roanoke), and the Stephanie Miller Show.

Brightcove exec Walter Yang to head up Vibrant Media’s Chicago office. Yang, Midwest sales director for Brightcove, is charged with establishing Vibrant’s Chicago office and taking on the role as VP of sales.

Rosetta Marketing hired Jamie Peck as managing partner, account management; and Richard DeMilt, CFO. Peck was previously at MRM Worldwide, McCann World Group’s digital and direct marketing agency. DeMilt worked as senior partner and worldwide controller at Ogilvy & Mather.

Zeta Interactive appointed Anil Unnikrishnan president of India operations. He replaces retiring president Pradeep Vegunta. Unnikrishnan joined Zeta in 2004, and previously led the company’s full services team.

Giant Realm hired sales and marketing execs, opened LA and San Francisco offices. Jim Thorp was hired as account director of the Eastern region; he was previously with UGO networks. Rebecca Sanders joined Giant Realm as senior account executive in the Western region, she will work out of San Francisco. She worked previously as account executive at online community for MMO gamers called Curse. Giant Realm also hired Pauline DeRosier for the newly created position of marketing director. DeRosier was marketing manager at “Maxim” magazine.

Spencer Scott was named VP of business development at SEM firm Adverplex. Scott will be responsible for sales and strategic partnerships. He was previously business development director at Affiliate Media Network.
