Eyeblaster's Kadin departs; Web traffic auditor I/PRO names a chief executive.

Paul Kadin, Eyeblaster’s EVP of marketing and strategy since March 2003, will soon depart his post. His resignation was part of a mutual arrangement between Kadin and the company.

Eyeblaster said Kadin will assist in a restructuring of the company’s management, now underway, and will leave at an appropriate time in the near future.

Kadin ferried Eyeblaster’s marketing efforts through a period of tumult for third-party rich media vendors. The emergence of DoubleClick’s Motif rich media management product was widely believed to pose a major threat to Eyeblaster, Unicast and their ilk. However, Motif’s penetration has been relatively slight, and the firms kept their heads above water. Competition has been fierce, particularly in the area of video ads.

Prior to joining Eyeblaster, Kadin was an executive VP with graphics technology firm Viewpoint.

Web traffic auditor I/PRO Corporation hired Allan Kaplan as president and CEO, and David Barlin as VP of marketing.

Kaplan has served on the boards of public and private companies, including PaperSpace, LoanCity.com and Site Technologies. Barlin has been with I/PRO since 1995.
