Full service marketing firm Red Robot hired Drew Krejci as director of client services and Evan Smith as manager of lifestyle marketing. Krejci served stints with De Plano Group and McCann Erickson, where he worked on the Sony Pictures Entertainment account. Smith developed marketing programs for Colorado Ski Country USA and was a marketing manager with Ticketmaster.
Additionally, Jennifer Louie, founder of Sixth Sense Consulting Group, was brought on as a business development consultant. Her clients have included Marvel Enterprises, Red Bull and Pepsi.
EmailLabs opened a sales office in New York City. The new location will initially be staffed by Randy Levy, who has worked for DoubleClick, CheetahMail and Prism Communications; and Tuan Tran, a veteran of Globix, Telligent and Tyco.
“We’ve experienced strong growth over the past year, particularly with East Coast companies in the publishing, hospitality/travel and advertising/marketing industries,” said CEO Dave Sousa. “It makes sense for us to establish a presence in New York. This new office and expanded server capacity will help us serve our clients more effectively while we continue to pursue new business aggressively.”
ValueClick-owned Commission Junction hired John Locke as VP of engineering. Locke held the same position with PulsePoint, and was general manager of the Internet group at Unisys.
