Agency.com London hires Corston; Advertising.com hires Drayton; Safecount.org forms advisory board.

Agency.com London hired Nick Corston as sales and marketing director. Coston will be responsible for the UK sales and marketing team. He was previously head of digital at fellow Omnicom agency Craik Jones and founded Arawak Interactive Marketing before that. Corston replaces Bill Brock who is leaving Agency.com in June, reportedly to join Tribal DDB London as managing director.

Advertising.com hired Hugo Drayton as new managing director for its European operations. Drayton was managing director of The Telegraph and previously served as the company’s marketing and new media director.

Safecount.org formed an advisory board. Members include Cory Treffiletti and Barry Peters, both of Carat Interactive; Starcom IP’s Mike Zeman; Nick Nyhan of Dynamic Logic; Mark Pinney of Tacoda; The IAB’s Doron Wesly; Khan Smith of Microsoft; and Shanthi Sitterud of Avenue A / Razorfish. The initiative’s stated goal is to establish measurement standards that are good for both consumers and advertisers.

Q1Media promoted two execs to cover East Coast and West Coast business, respectively. Matt Bently was promoted to senior interactive manager for the East Coast. Gaines Jonakin was promoted to senior interactive manager in the West.

ipsh! appointed Lisa Fields as vice president of sales. Fields will be responsible for managing the Southwest region, where she will oversee business development and related growth strategies. She was previously director of sales at go2 Directory Systems.

Habeas said Nigel Marrion will fill the newly created position of vice president of customer service. Marrion will report to CEO Des Cahill and will oversee the company’s customer service and support policies and infrastructure.
