Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive picked MoPhap for mobile advertising. Washingtonpost.com, Slate and Newsweek.com will use MoPhap’s SparkMobile ad serving platform for mobile ad insertion, trafficking, reporting, and inventory management.
IVillage promoted three execs and hired one. The NBC Universal-owned women’s site promoted Wanda Weber to vice president, ad sales & marketing for iVillage Properties, and Debbie Wogan will fill her old shoes as vice president, sales for iVillage lifestyles. Additionally, Brenda Coan was promoted to national sales director and Matthew Schulte joined as national sales director.
IKnowtion appointed Rafael Bradley as analytic director. Bradley joined the marketing and analytic consultancy from Quanticle where he served as a principal.
Range Online Media promoted Ashwini Karandikar to vice president of client services. Karandikar was previously director of client services for the search marketing agency.
Lime hired Heather Reilly as director of integrated sales & marketing, and Kristen Reick as ad sales marketing director. The green living multi-platform media company hired Reilly from Music Choice, and Reick from Hudson River Park Trust.
PARTNERS+simons promoted Nancy Carle and Anthony Henriques to creative directors. Both have been with the independent marketing services firm for more than 10 years.
HipCricket hired Jeff Hasen as chief marketing officer and Tom Virgin as chief financial officer. The mobile marketing company hired Hasen from InfoSpace. Virgin was executive vice president and CFO for Talyst Inc.
Jumpstart Automotive Media promoted Manjyot Mundy to director of yield management. The automotive advertising network promoted Mundy from product manager, behavioral targeting to the newly-created position.
Heavy.com selected Digital Element’s NetAcuity IP Intelligence technology. The consumer media company focused on 18-34 year old males will use IP Intelligence to deliver geographically targeted content, language and online ads to Web site visitors.
Operative hired Hal Muchnick as executive vice president and general manager. The provider of ad operations software, consulting and managed ad trafficking services hired Muchnick from his post as chief financial officer of Visible World.
W3i hired Lisa Nistler as senior director of account development. Prior to joining the downloadable content company, Nistler was senior director of marketing for Digital River.
A8Media launched as an online performance-based marketing network, and named its first two customers. FNBODirect, the online banking subsidiary of the First National Bank of Omaha, and American Boat Listings, an online used boat classified marketplace, joined the new network as advertisers.
