ValueClick has named Tom Vadnais its new president, adding to his current roles as general manager of Commission Junction and Mediaplex, and a member of the board of directors. Vadnais joined ValueClick in 2001 through its acquisition of Mediaplex, where he was president and CEO.
In addition, Jeffrey Pullen, chief operating officer, has resigned. Pullen joined ValueClick in 2003 through its acquisition of Commission Junction where he was president and CEO. His duties will be assumed by Jim Zarley, ValueClick’s chairman and CEO, along with Vadnais. There’s no word on what Pullen will be doing next.
iCrossing, which recently hired Agency.com’s former CEO to be president and chief operating officer, has poached several more execs from the firm. Colin Turney joins as managing director, Marlin Jackson as VP of business development, Lori Wilson as creative director and Rob Garner as senior strategic planner.
Local online classifieds site LiveDeal.com hired Steve Chaffin as VP of marketing. Chaffin’s executive marketing roles include stints at American Online, The Clorox Company and Bluelight.com.
Revenue Science hired Carrie Schwartz as a channel manager. She was previously manager of sales solutions at iVillage.
The Bakersfield Californian promoted Logan Molen to VP of interactive for the company. He was previously managing editor.
Vente hired Ken Treske as president. He was most recently VP of online marketing for Chartered Marketing Services.
