Lifetime Networks hires Dan Suratt to lead digital media; [x+1] makes several hires; Reuters names VP of ad sales.

Lifetime Networks hired Dan Suratt to the new position of EVP of digital media and business development. Surratt was VP of business and new media development at NBC Olympics and is credited with the success of NBCOlympics.com. He has won six Emmys.

The company formerly known as Poindexter Systems has made several hires in client services, sales and operations. [x+1] hired George Miller and Heath Podvesker as VPs in charge of managing strategic client relationships. Bill Ayers joins as SVP of sales and business development. Alan Pearlberg comes on as general manager of Media+1.

Reuters hired Nick Johnson as VP of ad sales for Reuters America. The position has oversight of ad sales for all platforms, including online, mobile, interactive TV and outdoor advertising on The Reuters Sign.

Tacoda hired Matthew Goldstein as SVP of revenue operations. He was previously VP of online ad operations at MTV Networks, prior to which he led business development and operations for Nickelodeon Online.

Mindshare Interactive Campaigns named Sue Zeiler to lead its new office in Chicago. Zeiler was the director of interactive services and strategy at Noble-BBDS.

The Trymedia Games division of Macrovision tapped Double Fusion to support its in-game ad offering. Ad products will include “around-game” ads and video pre-roll units that run at the start of game play.

CGM video play Revver hired David Tenzer to develop media partnerships. Tenzer joins from Creative Artists Agency, where he packaged over 40 TV projects.

The Keller Fay Group, which does market research to support word of mouth campaigns, hired Jon Berry as SVP. Berry was editorial director and SVP with Gfk NOP’s “Roper Reports” consumer trends research service.

Think Partnership has made its president and interim chief exec Scott Mitchell its permanent CEO. He was also named to the board.

Tribune Interactive promoted Christopher Conn to VP of product development. Conn was most recently director of product development. He joined in 2005, after leading consumer products at Kelley Blue Book.

R/GA hired Michael Kaczmarski as chief financial officer. He held senior financial roles at Ketchum and Euro RSCG Worldwide.
