ATTIK hired longtime board member Ric Peralta to lead the agency as CEO. Peralta was a management consultant at KPMG and The Bechtel Group. Later he was managing partner of Primo Angeli and held executive posts with frog design and fuseproject. ATTIK estimates its annual integrated creative billings at $30 million per year.
Publicis & Hal Riney hired James Consolantis as senior VP and worldwide group creative director for the HP account. Over the course of his 13 years at Ogilvy & Mather, Consolantis held several roles and ultimately became the agency’s first chief integration officer. In the role, he oversaw integrated campaign development for IBM, American Express and Jaguar.
McClatchy Interactive, the online services unit of The McClatchy Company, signed on to use Tacoda’s behavioral targeting platform. McClatchy owns The Sacramento Bee and the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Business Directory Local, an Internet yellow pages provider, will use Interchange’s Local Direct search and advertising platform. The deal incorporates Interchange’s AdCenter platform, which allows local and directory sites to manage advertiser listings.
