Sprint Nextel switches execs; Yahoo gets scientists; Revenue Science now in Santa Barbara.
Sprint Nextel named Tim Kelly as chief marketing officer. Kelly, currently president of Sprint Nextel’s Customer Management organization, is replacing Mark Schweitzer, who is leaving the company at the end of May.
Yahoo Research added two scientists. Dr. R. Preston McAfee and Dr. Duncan Watts joined the Yahoo Research team focused on developing the science that will underlie the next generation of technology and business.
Sivoo Holdings named Christopher Myers to president and chief operating officer. The Internet TV network of on-demand programming created the position for Myers, who joined as COO in 2006.
Responsys appointed John Nugent as vice president and general manager of EMEA. The on-demand e-mail and marketing automation solutions provider hired Nugent from his former position as managing director of EMEA at DoubleClick Email Solutions.
Revenue Science opened office in Santa Barbara, California. The behavioral targeting firm will use the office as the home base for West coast sales, marketing and media professionals, including Chief Revenue Officer Jeff Hirsch.
Inform Technologies hired James Satloff as chief executive officer. The semantic technology platform provider hired Satloff from his position as CEO and president of C.E. Unterberg, Towbin, the New York-based investment bank.
