IAB gets new members; Forbes.com hires sales manager in London; and Roving Software changes its moniker.

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) added five general members and fourteen associate members to its roster.

New general members include Casale Media, KnowledgeStorm, TheStreet.com, VNU eMedia and X10 Wireless Technologies. To join in the general member category, companies must sell interactive media.

The trade group’s latest associate members are BeyondROI, DNA Studio, Globix Corporation, Poindexter, PowerOne Media, Rambler Media, Reprise Media, SendTec, Survey Sampling, Szabo Associates, Vibrant Media, Wahlstrom Interactive, WebSideStory and United Virtualities. The associate member category is for companies that support online advertising in the U.S.

Forbes.com hired Charles Yardley as regional sales manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, based in London. Yardley joins from the Financial Times Business, where he worked in international sales across retail magazines, events and online divisions.

Online direct marketing firm CoolSavings will use Accipiter’s AdBureau product for ad management. The company chose Accipiter after a review of three ad technology vendors.

Roving Software changed its name to Constant Contact, after its most successful product. Constant Contact provides self-service email marketing tools and services for small and mid-sized businesses.

“By renaming the company, we are able to leverage Constant Contact’s success and brand recognition in the SMB marketplace,” said CEO Gail Goodman.
