Tribal DDB and iProspect head to Norway; The Huffington Post hands ad rep duties to Gorilla Nation.

OnIt Digital named Andy Madsen chief technology officer and John Balestrieri chief operating officer. The interactive marketing firm hired Madsen from his post as director of technology services for Euro RSCG 4D, and Balestrieri from his position as partner, chief technology officer and director of operations for Ogilvy Interactive / OgilvyOne.

The Huffington Post selected Gorilla Nation for online ad representation. The news and opinion site tasked the online ad rep firm to assume sales duties in Texas, Southern California, the city of Detroit, all of Canada and the United Kingdom.

Decorative Product Source selected WebAdvantage.net for search engine optimization. The online merchant of decorative plumbing, lighting and hardware products tapped WebAdvantage to undertake an SEO assessment of its Web site.

Ad Pepper Media opened a second office in New York City. New hires for the online ad network and online media company include Jon DeGennaro as director of national sales, Vicky Conti as director of client services and Ben Karetny as director of business development.

Primedia appointed Bryan Robb and Robert Klein to its automotive digital sales team. The targeted media company hired Robb as West Coast digital sales manager and Klein as East Coast digital sales director.

IProspect launched iProspect Norway and iProspect Denmark. The Isobar-owned search engine marketing firm also has agencies in Spain, Sweden, and the Netherlands, along with offices in Watertown and San Francisco.

Tribal DDB opened a new office in Oslo, Norway. The office will be led by Lars Bjorge, who will serve as managing director.

BGT Partners hired Vanessa Gelman as director of marketing and public relations. The interactive marketing agency hired Gelman from her post as an associate at Burson-Marsteller Miami.

La comunidad hired Andrei Ivanoff as director of interactive. The advertising agency with offices in Miami and Buenos Aires hired Ivanoff from SiboneyUSA, Miami, where he led interactive and design planning.

William Grant & Sons made Special Ops Media interactive agency of record for its Reyka Vodka brand. The interactive agency is tasked with creating and executing an exclusively online integrated marketing campaign.
