WMG taps JetBlue exec to lead digital marketing; Nationwide taps Wunderman for digital duties; Fuel Industries hires a creative strategy manager.

Warner Music Group named Peter Scherr VP of interactive marketing.Prior to joining WMG, Scherr was director, interactive marketing for JetBlue Airways Corporation. Scherr is tasked with expanding mobile marketing, e-commerce, search engine marketing and Web site optimization for WMG.

News Corporation and NBC Universal have added CNET Networks as a content provider and distributor on their jointly created online video venture. It’s a multiple year agreement.

FX Networks tapped ViTrue to power a “Sunny SuperFan” video contest. The consumer-created video platform provider was selected to enable video submissions for a contest promoting the comedy series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Nationwide selected Wunderman as its digital marketing agency of record. The diversified insurance and financial services organization has tasked Wunderman with an extensive redesign of Nationwide.com.

Fuel Industries hired Simona Sara Ioffe as creative strategy manager. The online branded entertainment firm tasked Ioffe with managing its Wrigley account.

Tagged.com selected Adknowledge. The social networking site will use Adknowledge AdStation to monetize user-to-user e-mail.

Longford Homes and Port-of-Subs tapped Geary Interactive to assist with their online marketing intiatives. The Internet marketing firm was chosen by the home builder to rebuild its corporate, commercial and residential building Web sites, and by the sandwich company to drive awareness for the Port-of-Subs franchise locations in Southern Nevada.

Optimedia U.S. named Andrea Kerr Redniss senior vice president, managing director. The media communications agency, which is part of ZenithOptimedia USA, has made Redniss responsible for the agency’s digital and national broadcast integration unit, NewCast.

Lisa Henderson has rejoined Epsilon as a senior vice president and sector leader for its Healthcare Services team.

SellingSource.com named Laura Olson-Reyes director of marketing communications. Olson-Reyes will oversee public relations, corporate communications, and other marketing communications-related activities for the provider of technology-driven marketing solutions for the online marketplace.
