Carat Interactive promoted Cory Treffiletti from media director to VP of media and client services. Treffiletti now oversees media and account management for all San Francisco business.

His agency background includes stints at Freestyle Interactive and i-traffic.

Direct marketing and database management firm Traffix added Mark Gutterman to its board. The CFO of Starpoint Solutions replaces Jack Silver, who resigned to devote time to other business and personal interests.

Gutterman served on the company’s board from 1995 until his resignation in November, 1999. Before Starpoint, he was a co-managing partner at accounting firm Feldman, Gutterman, Meinberg.
