WhenU named Ralph Terkowitz to its board of directors; Interchange hired George Kellerman as senior VP of business development; Knight Ridder Digital promoted Tom Mohr to president.
WhenU named Ralph Terkowitz to its board of directors. Terkowitz is a general partner at ABS Capital Partners and serves on the board of TRUSTe. His background includes a stint as CIO and CTO of The Washington Post Company.
“Ralph has worked with companies that adhere to strict privacy practices, self-regulation, and has implemented criteria that holds businesses accountable to these principles,” said Bill Day, CEO of WhenU.
Local paid search service provider Interchange hired George Kellerman as senior VP of business development. Kellerman was VP of international business development for Yahoo Japan, and helped build that company’s paid search business. Earlier, he worked for Yahoo as a manager of business development, alliances and distribution, and as legal counsel.
Knight Ridder Digital promoted Tom Mohr to president. Mohr succeeds Hilary Schneider, who was promoted last week to senior VP at Knight Ridder’s newspaper division. Earlier, Mohr was VP at KRD and director of Knight Ridder classifieds.
KATU TV, ABC’s network affiliate in Portland, Oregon, is using Accipiter’s AdManager platform to serve and track ads on its Web site. KATU said it chose AdManager for its reporting and inventory management features.
Gaming and game news site GotFrag tapped Premium Network to be its media sales agent. Premium Network will exclusively represent GotFrag’s audience of computer and video game enthusiasts.
