Centro's Skinner Departs, Burst Hires, LYCOS Sells GetRelevant to RedSail

Centro VP Eastern Region Adrienne Skinner is leaving the local media firm to take on an as yet unnamed position in the interactive advertising industry.

Ad network Burst Media has brought on Brian J. Smith as an account executive in its Chicago office, replacing Marc Condon. Smith hails from CBS Radio, where he served as account exec for the Chicago Bears Radio Network.

Performance marketing firm RedSail, a PRIMIS company, purchased lead generation network GetRelevant from LYCOS in October to broaden its lead generation business. The aligned firms will operate using the RedSail name.

Bi-lingual PR firm TransMedia Group has been hired by South Florida Interactive Marketing Association to raise awareness and build relationships with Florida marketers throughout Florida.
